Satori Is Now Available On AWS Marketplace To Simplify Secure AWS Data Access

|Chief Scientist

It is probably a safe bet to assume that any company which uses data has at least some of its infrastructure in AWS. Over the last few years, more data, including analytics data, has been migrating to the public cloud, and many of our customers are taking advantage of AWS to access data at scale.

On the technological front, Satori keeps innovating in allowing our customers to streamline access to sensitive data and implement security policies in a quicker and more secure manner. These innovations include capabilities such as dynamic data masking, row-level security, continuous sensitive data discovery, and more. They also include support for Amazon RDS databases, Amazon Redshift, and many more.

Making life more simple for our customers not only means striving to deliver the best products and services, but it also means making it more simple to consume the service.

This is why today we announce our availability on the AWS marketplace to further simplify the use of Satori.

Buying Satori on AWS Marketplace

Companies that want to enhance their AWS infrastructure with partner products often prefer to buy them using the AWS marketplace. The reasons behind this preference may be ease of assets management, simplification of the procurement process, and more simple budget management within organizations.

Allowing companies to use Satori by placing orders using the AWS marketplace simplifies our customer journey to reaching quicker and more secure data access.

In addition, AWS customers using the EDP program can purchase a Satori license as part of their committed budget, as Satori is an AWS marketplace partner.

Keeping Data Access Quick and Secure in the AWS Data Lakehouse

Satori enables organizations to streamline access to data stored in AWS using data platforms like Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS, installations of MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, and more. Enabling Satori as the data security component of your stack enables you to meet compliance & security requirements continuously and accelerate your data-driven business.

This is done with the following key capabilities:

Continuous Data Discovery & Classification

As data is being accessed, it is continuously being classified by Satori, and sensitive data is being discovered. This means that you have a data inventory which contains all locations of sensitive data and is continuously updated. This also means that you can set security policies according to data types, instead of configuring all database locations (e.g., all PII is masked unless it is accessed by a specific IdP group).

Fine-Grained Access Control

Satori enables companies to set fine-grained access control policies, including applying security policies like dynamic data masking without making any changes to their databases. Your security teams, data owners, or data stewards can apply security policies without running any SQL command.

Decentralized Data Access Workflows

Your security teams and data owners can set automated workflows to enable users to access data. This may mean an approval process or even getting temporary access to data after filling out a business justification form. You can learn more about this capability here.

Data Access Auditing And Monitoring

Setting up and maintaining data access auditing and monitoring across all of your AWS data lake house stores can be challenging. This is especially true when you require that the data access audits include sensitive data (i.e., information about who was accessing which types of sensitive data). With Satori you get enriched data access audits in a single pane.

When Can You Start Buying Satori in AWS Marketplace?

Starting from today, all new and existing Satori customers can begin using AWS Marketplace to pay for Satori.
